Jefferson Tower – North Downtown Tampa
In the midst of N. Orange Avenue, N. Jefferson Street, and E. Laurel Street lies a peculiarly shaped piece of land. Over the past few years, this parcel has been a hot potato in the real estate market, with developers scratching their heads over how to make the most of it. But lo and behold, along comes a proposal that seems to hold promise, and it all boils down to two words: “parking technology.”
Enters Michael Lerman of MCL Property Services LLC, with a dope idea – a 105-stall car elevator – to complement the residential vision his company has for the area. The technology is ushered in by Utron: a company known for their automated and puzzle parking systems. Two levels of parking will be dedicated to a two level park system and a three level park system.
The remaining 19 stories of building will be dedicated to 200 residential units of studio, 1 bedroom, 1 bedroom + den, and two bedroom floor plans. The development team has stated they have not decided on a condominium product or rental product, but what we do know is that each level of living will host 11 units with the top floor being dedicated to two penthouse homes. At the third level will be an amenity deck featuring a rooftop pool, we wait for more information on the project but this seems like one to get excited about.
